GOALKEEPER COACHING!
Our 1-2-1 goalkeeper training is meant for children with goal-stopping talents. As one of the most significant roles on the pitch, we train our goalkeepers to be resilient, confident, and give them extra attention. We provide both the technical and physical training goalkeepers need to sharpen their abilities.
They’ll have access to our goalkeeper coach, who trains them specifically and works on different positioning, distribution, footwork, and ball-handling techniques. Our aim is to make your child very confident on the goal post and be able to handle all types of shots and crosses.

1-2-1 Sessions for Goalkeepers
Upskill Football Coaching goalkeeping sessions are tailored to the needs of each individual player. We start by recognising their weak points before helping them make immediate improvements, get fit, and prepare for an important game or trial. We provide a fun, friendly, and challenging environment for goalkeepers to learn in. Our drills and games are relevant to goalkeeper progression. We provide help and guidance throughout the session as well.
Every session typically begins with a warm-up and then advance into the coaching session, which will be structured with one or more of the following objectives:
- Handling
- Diving
- Footwork
- Positioning
- Dealing with 1v1s
- Dealing with crosses
- Distribution
- Support and Communication
- Reactions
- Shot stopping
- Fitness
We are happy to provide these 1-2-1 goalkeeper sessions at many different locations in and around the Guildford area. We can train them down at your local rec, travel to our desired Astroturf venue, Goals in Tolworth, or even a home visit (provided of course you have a large enough garden to accommodate goals).
We have goals and all other required equipment that we can quickly use to set up.
We offer two styles of payment for 1-2-1 sessions. We offer a per session payment or a block payment. The block payments however do need to be used within a 60 day period.
